Submit a 45-second GIBOARD freestyle video before June 20th for your chance to be selected as one of 20 competitors from around the world. Winners receive free access to the Kessel Festival, a backstage experience, and a shot at the world title.

Judging Criteria
(1–10 scale per category):

Stability, control, use of rebound
2. CREATIVITY
Original moves, personal style, transitions
3. FLOW
Rhythm, fluidity, connection between moves
4. DIFFICULTY
Technical level of tricks and combinations
5. ENTERTAINMENT
Engagement, stage presence, crowd interaction

EVENT SCHEDULE
Friday, 04.07.25 GIBOARD World Championship
The competition begins with a qualification round to determine the ranking. This is followed by knockout rounds, where athletes go head-to-head and are evaluated by a jury.

Who can participate?
Everyone! The competition starts with a pre video qualification round. Be sure to register and submit the video in time!

There is a large selection of Airbnbs and hotels in Stuttgart. We recommend the A&O Hostel.
The Kessel Festival
The GIBOARD World Championship takes place right after the Trickline World Championship qualifiers at the Kessel Festival – one of Germany’s biggest music, sport, and culture events. In partnership with sponsoring partners, the Stuttgart-based slackline brand GIBBON transforms the Cannstatter Wasen into the Trickline Arena.
